Songs you already love, slowed-down covers, soft folk. The point is comfort, not discovery. Save discovery for the bus.

Hard nights — sad but tender

Phoebe Bridgers, Sufjan, Mitski, Bon Iver. Not for wallowing — for letting something out that's already there. Then sleep.

Match volume to intention

Study volume is low. Reset volume is medium. Hard-night volume is whatever feels true. Volume is half the medicine.
