Exam season survival: what to drop, what to keep

Exam weeks aren't won by doing more — they're won by ruthless triage. This is the priority framework for the 3 weeks before finals.

01

DROP: optional commitments

Cancel non-essential meetings, social events you're not excited about, side projects. Apologize once, move on.

02

DROP: new study methods

Don't try a new app, technique, or system 2 weeks before exams. Use what already works, even if imperfect.

03

KEEP: sleep + movement

These are not optional. Cutting sleep to study more is a net loss. 8 hours + one walk per day, minimum.

04

KEEP: one social anchor per week

One dinner with a friend, one call home. Isolation makes everything heavier.

05

ADD: past papers, only

The single highest-leverage activity is timed past papers + reviewing what you got wrong. Do this daily.

06

ADD: one daily reset

20 minutes a day, no work, no screen. Walk, stretch, or sit. Non-negotiable.
