Healthy delivery without spending €40

Delivery doesn't have to mean €40 of nuggets and regret. With a few rules, you can order well, eat properly, and still pay rent.

Order from places that cook real food

Skip places where everything is fried. Look for grain bowls, soups, roasted protein + veg combos. The price difference is small; the recovery difference is huge.

Build a 'usual order' per app

Decide once. A go-to bowl, a go-to soup, a go-to comfort meal. Removes 15 minutes of doom-scrolling at 9pm.

Split orders with a flatmate

Two mains, one side, split. Cheaper than two separate orders and you both eat better.

Add a vegetable, always

Side salad, soup, or roasted veg. Three euros that change how you feel two hours later. Non-negotiable.

Cap delivery at twice a week

Not a moral rule — a budget rule. The third order is usually emotional, not hungry. Make tea and wait twenty minutes.

  • Sun — comfort meal, planned in advance (€13)
